AML Statement
1. Our commitment
Issura is committed to preventing its platform being used for money laundering, terrorism financing or sanctions evasion. We maintain an anti–money-laundering and countering-the-financing- of-terrorism programme designed to the standard expected of a Singapore capital markets intermediary, overseen at management level and reviewed regularly.
2. Who we verify
Every participant is verified before they can transact.
- Investors complete identity verification, including document and liveness checks, before any subscription. Access to offerings is restricted to persons who qualify, and have expressly elected to be treated, as accredited investors or other relevant persons.
- Issuers undergo due diligence covering the issuing entity, its beneficial owners and controllers, the nature of the business, and the assets proposed for tokenisation.
- Wallets are screened using blockchain analytics before being permitted to hold platform-issued tokens, and remain subject to review thereafter.
3. Screening and monitoring
Participants are screened against applicable sanctions lists and politically-exposed-person data at onboarding and on an ongoing basis. Business relationships are monitored throughout their duration, and we may request updated information at any time. We may refuse, suspend or terminate access, or decline a transaction, where our obligations require it — and where the law prohibits us from giving a reason, we will not provide one.
4. Compliance enforced on-chain
Tokens issued through the platform are permissioned. Every transfer is validated against an on-chain identity registry before it executes: a transfer to a wallet that has not been verified fails at the smart-contract level, regardless of which application initiated it. Compliance travels with the token itself.
5. Records and reporting
We retain verification and transaction records for the periods required by law and report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities as required. Issura does not hold investor funds: subscriptions pass directly from the investor’s own wallet to the offering contract.
